Suk had been out on the water all day fishing with three other men. The fish hold was half full when the sun started to set. The water shimmered a purple hue interrupted by the occasional large jellyfish. Suk's father talked about how the daily catch was so much larger 20 years ago. He wonedered what the youngest village members would do for a livinc. Half their teenagers already spend summers in Bangkok, working in shopping malls or driving tuktuks.
