I just renewed my visa so its the start of Year #4 in Thailand and Chiang Mai.

My language skill is slowly growing over time. I am reading The Martian, with a lot of help from Google Translate, though I use it less than I used to. It's been fun to read books I already like in English, because revisiting the story is fun and also it helps me read it in Thai. In particular, knowing the proper names, but also the plot lines. I just received Book 1 of Lord of the Rings in Thai, and I'm looking forward to getting into that book next.
