Alpha 5 release available here. Just one big change.The app requests to receive location updates. it wasn't doing that before. Blush. now the GPS icon shows up and the app is getting fresh location data. Before it was working but only with stale data from, I assume, when the gmaps program ran last.

Once the web site is enhanced a tiny bit, a url of http://icecondor.com/guid/ (or similar), will show the last bit of track information for that user. That will make the client app somewhat useful until the in-phone gmap overlay part is done.

update: the off switch is disconnected in this version (whoops). you might want to wait for alpha6.
