as I am groking more about OpenSocial, i am learning a disappointing truth: OpenAccess makes the social network 'silos' of social graph information uniform in their access, but they are still silos. maybe thats all thats needed to put in another layer for managing a super-social-net composed of individual nets.

im hoping the container providers will allow anonymous access at some level. im thinking of a unix utility 'lsfriends http://plaxo.com/server don@mail.com" where anyone using the lsfriends utility doesnt need a developer account with plaxo, but on the otherhand only sees social connections designated as public information.
