The return of the PDA
Don's 1999 bubble axiom: Palm's PDAs were a huge. The announcement of a Palm PDA was almost as big as an apple product announcement. At the same time, cell phones were exploding like nothing else. The question was, would cell phones become more PDA-like, or would PDAs become more cell phone-like? The answer was PDAs would almost die and regular boring cell phones would explode. The boring cell phone explosion has run its course and they are becoming PDAs. We have improved processors and screens and smartphones are really PDAs with a GSM module rather than a smart "phone". These handheld computers, running linux, will be a growing market for app developers. Even old PDA game developers from 2003.
