wow. i never thought it would happen but my regular nerd news habit has swung away from dugg and back to slashdot. dugg literally turned into a tabloid with almost no useful content. slashdot continues to have quality content. the concept of user-selected stories is a good one, i think the low quality on digg says that digg's readership has become so broad that stories like "The shinest <blank> you'll see all day" are the only common denominator.
