im still jonesing to go to disneyland. its just 45 minutes away! im currently listening to the disneyland channel which has soundbytes used at the park. jingles from the rides, and the safety messages announced before the monorail starts, a ride begins, etc..

i managed to get up early this morning and i ran along the beach. the surf is very high right now. i walk to the beach without shoes, dodging bits of trash along the way. i was jogging in and out of a few inches of water, getting my feet wet. the waves break on a rock wall with a thundering "whooosh" sound. it was fantastic.

i talked to a couple surfers who were staying out of the water because of the unusual wave height.
