tonight is night one in the venice beach hotel room that i'll have for the next month. its a very efficient, cute little place. it'll be fine for the next month. but the boardwalk may have been a bit too much to chew. i just walked out at 8:30pm and actually felt a bit fearful. the shops are built with front screens to withstand a riot. i expect to be able to hear the sounds of the ocean tonight, and the group sing-alongs in the street. i will love that part i think.

the hotel has free, fast wifi. whoho.
