ive got a hotel room with a tiny tiny little kitchen/table area for the next month. one end of the hotel is literally on the venice beach boardwalk. close to the beach is nice but i didnt think it'd be this close. its expensive too, but assuming the job lasts a month it'll be okay.

already im considering 65 degrees 'chilly'. i wore a longsleeve shirt today. just about everyone at the office wears sandals of some sort. im working hard and trying to do a good job. im glad to be working with rails. i could use an outside of work friend or at least an activity. i'll get lots of sun this weekend. being in so cal and on the beach is still a huge novelty and tons of fun.  i feel lucky every time i show up to work and every time i walk out of the building at night.
