i just got a two hour gig from a music website. it feels like being a shoesmith. someone you've never seen before suddenly walks in and shows you their problem and you have to take a look and make a time estimate. you have to think about  the other shoes already in the shop and prioritize what gets worked on first.

there is one other job waiting that needs just an hour.  a new, sizable job should start next week. so right now its relatively quiet.
