i was just getting started in playing with edge rails so i could look at RJS. my rails app started failing and someone on #rubyonrails said my ruby 1.8.3 was bad. ubuntu is only up to 1.8.3 and im not going to switch from an ubuntu package to source code and back again when 1.8.4 does come out for ubuntu. sigh.

on the up side, the webservices part of gridcolo is progressing.
