today was my first day off. last night i had a very good dinner with my friend Jeff, including home-brewed beer. i went to bed tired, full, and happy. although i didnt have enough water and the dehytration from the beer and the excitement of the future kept me from sleeping through the night. i got up at 3am and hacked on the house server until 6am when i went to bed again. got up at 10am and made it to the urban grind by 1pm after having lunch. i met seth, amy (my housemate),and  tom h. and family there.

mostly i caught up on some email and added people to my linkedin.com network. i also thought about how a wifi shoot might make it from my place to seth's house.

it was a low-productivity day as far as gridcolo goes. but hey it was my first day off.
