i saw my uncle mike be ordained a deacon in the catholic church this morning. it was a beautiful ceremony. archbishop valzney did the 'laying of hands' on the newly deconized which he said is a ceremony handed down from the apostles. i saw a couple of my cousins briefly - i stayed for the first hour of the 2.5 hour ceremony.
