cellphone as home computer

there was an article on slashdot (i think) recently that had an interesting premise: the modern cellphone has enough processing power to be the primary computer for many people. i am often oogling over the latest ericsson and nokia offerings and i think this statement is correct. I have to believe that the cpu that can draw on a 200x200 screen is also fast enough to draw on an 800x600 screen while still being usably fast. whats left is a cell phone cradle that has VGA out and a usb hub for a keyboard/mouse.

come home and drop your phone into the cradle and the monitor comes to life. you can surf and write emails, and read emails on a big screen. yank the phone out of the cradle and all the info you've been using, like a cache of web pages and your inbox are still in the phone.
