I am at the urban grind pearl cafe and someone here has a playstation portable. the device is simply amazing in its graphics and its physical design.

the owner was describing playing multiplayer games while on an airplane. FAA concerns aside, its that kind of computer mediated communication between strangers that will bring a radical change to urban society.

the assumption is that anytime you have a room full of people there are things people can offer that match what people want. someone here in this cafe knows of a software job opportunity, for example,  and someone is looking for a software job.

I was hoping that palm devices with bluetooth would be the hardware platform of choice, but that platform is still struggling.

A google earth client for the PSP would be a slam dunk. Or some kind of realtors assistant. People would be interested in the app just as an excuse to buy the PSP.
