The playstation 3 has been announced. I remember the release of the playstation 2. It was incredible. The hype machine was unreal. For console nerds it was like the second coming. People were selling empty PS2 boxes on ebay to unsuspecting people who paid first and asked questions later.
The PS3, presented at this week's E3, will output HDTV 1080p and has nine 3.2GHz PowerPC cores.
