as the samurai village is under a suprize attack while watching a small village play, the scene in the movie shows the warriors lifting their children up as they run together from the makeshift ampitheater. these adult males have a priority to protect and transport their children and wife first to safety, before entering battle. its the young adult males that have the advantage here. their lack of responsibility, even wrecklessness is their asset as they are the fastest to move into an offensive position and offensive thinking.

im sometimes reminded of wreckless youth in my apartment building when neighbors are loud. yet thanks to the feng shui of this place there is community.
