I saw Galaxy Quest a couple nights ago. Its one of those movies I thought sounded good but never went and saw. That was the funniest movie I've seen in years. I loved it. Tim Allen, whom normally I think is a only a fair actor, was great for the role of a washed-up LA actor and Sigourney was a brilliant addition - deadpan and beautiful. The many spoofs of TV sci-fi and self-referencing jokes were accurate and thats what made them funny.
