my buddy darrin is very concerned about hurricane frances. its aimed right for his childhood home on the east coast of floria. his parents still live there but they are currently vacationing in Michigan.
Also the Kennedy Space Center is in the hurricane's path. The Orbiter Processing Facility that is currently housing the three remaining space shuttles has a roof meant to stand up to 105MPH winds. Another building is meant to withstand 110MPH buildings. Frances currently has sustained winds of 145MPH. If the Orbiters or the procecssing facilities were damaged, the space shuttle program might come to an end.
