running

i did five miles today. whoho! that means im ready for the shamrock run. i'll run once more this week and then Sunday morning is the real deal. around mile 3, rathen than hitting a wall it was like breaking through a wall onto a plateau. "ohhhh. you want me to RUN" my body said to me. i really felt the "runner's high" at mile 4.

mile 1 8:52 mile 2 8:57 mile 3 8:54 mile 4 9:50 mile 5 10:17

those times include a 15 second stop as i go by my house. i stop just long enough to suck down some water. my knees have been hurting a bit yesterday and just before the run.
