its crazy but i think i need to write my own email client. ive used pine for years but its lack of GPG support is starting to be a problem. ive tried mutt a few times and its great but i cant stand how the text editing is separate from the header editing. thats what keeps me using pine.

it'd be a curses app because text mode rules :). id write it in java or python or ruby. not sure which.

it'd have just the functionality i use in pine. the folder summary screen, the folder selection screen, address book, email read screen, and email compose screen.
