The progression of mobility devices continues. Electric "mobility devices" are used by all sorts of people and asked to do more than any of the predecessors - have you ever seen a senior citizen in one of these powered chairs driving down a neighborhood street with a load of groceries?

The mechwarrior or exoskeleton idea is interesting to think about. I saw some electric "lifts" used in construction and I thought hey those look like early mech warriors.
