I was at the portlandia

I was at the portlandia building yesterday, crusing through the county jobs. On my way out of the bathroom i noticed the door had an electronicly activated lock. I read the side and saw the brand name: Von Duprin. Its just a manufacturer site so it had no prices, but things looked expensive. Further down the google search results page showed door hardware supply which looks like a reseller. hmm the vonduprin products all seem to be of the manual kind of door lock. Im sure an electronic lock will be too expensive, but hey i'll have a job someday. I suppose with a solenoid and some capentry, I could jurry-rig my own lock.

Ha. They're call "Electric Strikes". Now the searching comes much easier. yes! nokey.com "The keyless lock store". They have electric strikes for the expected $100-$200 range.
