i woke up today to a reading of the declaration of independence on NPR. it was touching. I wonder if or when a group will leave the union using much of the same language. they would need a big space with indigenous people of technological inferiority to plunder.

i was planning on going to ohsu's HR dept to apply for a few jobs. today i realize its a holiday or something :) and offices are generally closed.

so instead I installed a demo of "Tron 2.0", which was downloading last night, and it's more fun that I expected. The demo is a very pretty-looking version of the light cycles scene from the movie.
