selling the earth back to us. the portland tribune has an article about forrest activists this summer. we should be stewards of the land. the forests are too important to give them up and allow the idea of private ownership. partially these ideas come from living in the city. i think when you live out in the woods you can see a valley of trees as work, something to be cleared away, as is whats necessary to create a city. we could do this before because the forrest seemed so vast that nothing we did could have a measurable impact. like using air along with gas. so what if it emits some nasty smelling stuff? the atmosphere is so volumunous that we couldnt possibly affect it. the exaust just 'goes away'. like throwing trash into the ocean. i read on a boat that its legal to dump your trash overboard if you're greater than 5 miles out. weather sattelites and global surveys can show us that we do have an impact and the more technology we have, sometimes meaning the more power we have to destroy, the more we have to look at side-effects of what we're doing. okay enough non-specific warm fuzzy talk. what i need is an income. i added a new banner ad system to DailyWireless yesterday.
