wweek emailed. someone else got the job. i was hoping this would be easy. it had the hallmarks of a job i would get. i could have done a great job at wweek. when one door closes, another one opens somewhere else. in about late june i'll have run out of money.

its the right time of year to get on my bike and not look back. i dont know if having red hair would be a benefit or a detriment to finding new java work. im leaning toward detrement which means im a conformist, but sacrafices must be made.

i went camping on mon/tue of this week. K and I went to the bagby area and went car camping in the campmobile. it was great to be in the fresh air. we spent the day on the trail that goes by the hotsprings and got in for a soak on the way back. i just got a video of a live recording of tori amos at an outdoor concert. she's amazing.

ortliebs - check, tent - check, sleeping bag - check, bike - check. on the road again.... i just cant wait to get on the road again... hmmmm.....
