i just got a friendster invite from a friend of mine who i had no idea knew anything about friendster. i have friends in circle A and i have friends in circle B. this means ive heard about friendster from two separate circles. that really impresses me. the site is really damn slow the last few times ive tried to use it. i imagine its experiencing an amazing amount of growth. i'll try and resist the urge to make a similar web site.

i am going forward, slowly, with the kozmo restart. its now called spazmo. mostly because dave thought that name was really funny. i think a rejumbling of the word kozmo might be a good idea, cuz id love to give props to the boys in orange. zokmo or mozko or mokzo or komzo or zomko. we figured out one possible solution to the problem of a deliverer running away with the cash ("deciding to get high instead" as alina put it). We 'bond' them by taking a deposit and only allowing them to take a job that has an equal or lesser value than what they have deposited. i suppose that works out to be pretty similar to having the deliverer get paid after the delivery.
