A friend told me about Friendster, so I signed up. The site gives you access to a catalog of people with a graph between the people of who knows who. One use for this data is to search for people with a common interest, like a dating site, but it only searches among people who have a path of friends between them and yourself.

I got that same feeling from this site that I got from online auction sites before ebay was big. Friendster is a lame name, but the site functions well. I think there is a big opportunity for a new site to improve on the concept. I'll bet there are a couple of applicable patents. HA.

Im going running in the starlight run that precedes the starlight parade. I want to go as "anti-spam man" but im not sure how to make my message easily readable by the passers by. Its a 3 mile run and its fun because you run the parade route and the crowds are already there so you have this big cheering section. Kristina is running it with me.
