The Apple Powerbooks are taking over. Its amazing how popular they are amongst the laptop crowd. They are fine machines for sure, but something about OS X bothers me. I think its best explained by taking a bit of script from Austin Powers and substituting "Evil" with "Free".
Dr. Evil: You're not quite evil enough. You're semi-evil. You're quasi-evil. You're the margarine of evil. You're the Diet Coke of evil, just one calorie, not evil enough.
OS X: You're not quite free enough. You're semi-free. You're quasi-free. You're the margarine of open source. You're the Diet Coke of GPL'ed software, just one licence, not free enough.
Then again, I use and promote a lot of Java, which is a another semi-free technology.
I finally got a new mouse. An optical microsoft USB mouse. its so nice!
