i had a great bikeride home tonight. it was very warm and dark out. i had a lot of ideas to put into my livejournal but ive forgotten most of them.

today was a very good day. i spent the whole day with Darrin, and Dave and in part with Aaron. I met with the owner of Inncuspace, a business incubator in NW portland who wants wayyy to much to rent a desk.

i had a terrible dream last night. i dreamt of watching scenes from when i was age 10-18 or so, at my father's house. i dreamt that streams of ants or misc bugs of some sort were streaming out from the ceilings. steady streams of jet black bugs streaming out of the ceilings. it wasnt horrifying but it was scarry. i think it represents some kind of family disfunction during my time in that house.

i got a new issue of PC Gamer today. yea. im really excited about playing: Asheron's Call 2. Eve Online looks great, and Rainbow Six Raven Shield looks like another big improvement from the previous game.

there is a great advertisement of AC2 on p36 if you have this month's issue :). Its a scene of a corner of a cubicle farm with the back of one programmer looking out the window, his gaze lifted just above his monitor. the row of windows along the wall show the building to be set in Dereth, the land of AC2. I try to notice the yin and yang in the world. lives that are uniform and reliable can also be the best platform for detailed fantasy.

I need a new video card and possibly a whole new system to be able to play these games. i hope to hear about this contract I should be getting in the next week.
