i woke up with another half-defined long-shot idea to write a piece of software that would have so much demand it would become an overnight success. SAP for individuals is the idea. forecasts, reports and summaries of every kind. mostly i want a financial calendar for myself. i might be getting some money soon so i want to priortize my bills and be able to do things like, bring up a window that shows my februrary budget. then say 'im going to greece in november' and watch how that affects februray's budget. then say im going to start taking two classes in december. if you add things like tax laws, the logic required starts to sound like artificial intelligence. what if the enitre tax code were expressed only in a formal logic? the government would provide source code modules that would be used by accountants to compute taxes. java, EJBs, and WebSphere would be a great platform for this - im going to get a lot more exposure to those technologies in my job.
the next beehive games game will be multiplayer. whoho. i think im ready for it. it will either be bluetooth multiplayer (Tungsten T/M500+sdio card) or tcp/ip multiplayer over GPRS (Treo/Tungsten W).
i want the next game to be a cooperative multiplayer game. there will still be battles, but it will be a battle against a common enemy. One thought it to have each Palm be a station on a starship, capitan's chair, tactical, engineering, etc. Then as a group you roam the galaxy and do yet to be determined things. the UI is also really hard to visualize. I want to make use of the 320x240 color screens.
breakfast is cooking upstairs. im making the usual - scrambled organic eggs over toast with grated tillamook cheese on top. plus some oatmeal from 'bobs red mill' with honey.
