I spent the night camping in the woods last night. it was really good. i hiked along 'Dickey Creek Trail' which is near bagby hotsprings. The trail was pretty treacherous in parts, for a forrest trail. I saw some beautiful scenery. My camp site was very high up, about 4000ft so it was cold last night. The view was unbeatable. I had a little camp stove with me to cook noodles and mostly I just watched the forrest in silence and read some more from Snow Crash. I was worried because when I got to the trailhead, the bus's left front tire was very low, practically flat. It has a slow leak that I discovered last week. I refilled it last week before going to Lucas's camping trip, then forgot about it. I had a can of fix-a-flat with me that should fix it if it went totally flat. luckily it held up all the way back to Estacada.
one of the things i was thinking about was wouldnt it be fun to have a more advanced lego-like mechanical system to build things? The mechwarrior in my last post would be pretty exciting to build with real moving parts and real brains. I think im being sucked back into the zone that every computer geek with an ounce of EE in him goes to: I want to build a robot. Check out the walking videos of ASIMO - Honda's walking robot.
