I looked into BitTorrent http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/ today. There is almost no documentation on how it works :(. Id like to see filesharing that is so much smarter than Kazaa. BitTorrent is about distributed file delivery - I suddenly realized this was only half the problem. Distributed file delivery is just part of a distributed filesystem. Such as FarSite that my buddy Jon is working on. The only open source distributed filesystem that I know of is Freenet http://freenetproject.org. Time to take another look at that.
