Last friday was the one month anniversary of my unemployment. whoho. it got me thinking a little about a job. i did the starlight run - it turned out really really well. i was unsure about a costume but did put one together before the run. i had my bike gear on and a carried a set of handlebars in front of me during the whole race. lots of people laughed or made comments. i really enjoyed it.

last weekend i was with jenny and seth and lucas and lisa. we went to the pepsi waterfront village. i rode two big rides - evolution and fireball. it was so so fun! I think that adrenaline rides like that really have a temporary lifting effect of the thought patterns of depression. i want to ride them again but i dont know who will go with me.

sunday i went on a bike ride east on hwy 30. i thought maybe id see sauvie's island. ive never been there before. i wasnt sure if that would actually happen. it turns out that i did find it. i bought berries - my first oregon berries of the season - and rode the loop around the island. it was the most scenic and beautiful ride ive done from portland. i would have liked to have someone with me.

ive updated the doncam page a bit and made a page for thought about pda games. this weekend I go to Jon's to practice for the big seattle to portland bike ride.
